Example Series 1 Remainders, 2006/7 If it is to be a sustainable resource, wood should not be discarded casually. Fascination with the material and a sense it should be honored became the central theme for this exhibit. The materials came from corners of the studio, alongside the road, or as donations from area craftspeople. As the exhibit developed, not surprisingly, other recycled materials started to find their way into pieces. These aberrations continued to occur spontaneously as is seen in Example Series 2.
